Iskander Haverkate

Iskander Haverkate graduated in Dutch law from the University of Amsterdam in 1989. He practised as a lawyer and later served as deputy registrar and judge at the Court of Den Bosch (administrative and commercial divisions). In 2006 he returned to private practice at Hemwood. His work bridges administrative, planning and civil law. Iskander specialises in retail establishment (including EU aspects) and environmental and fire safety. He teaches administrative procedural law for the Dutch Bar and publishes regularly. He is a member of VBR, VAR and VMR.
