Sjors Zuethoff is a creative, analytically sharp real estate solicitor. He has a thorough knowledge of environmental law. He assists commercial real estate parties and (semi-) government institutions in issues related to spatial planning, the environment, enforcement and land development. Sjors is also experienced in advising and contracting on issues such as rent, purchase and business rights. He regularly litigates against attacks based on property tax, property tax and (building) fees.
Before joining Hemwood (September 2019), Sjors worked as a lawyer at Dentons Boekel in Amsterdam and at Wijn & Stael in Utrecht. Sjors has gained extensive experience in real estate and administrative law practice at both offices. He has advised retailers on the (re)development and expansion of their real estate and he has assisted various project developers in the realization of new spatial projects. Such as the transformation from office to commercial functions and homes. Sjors is also experienced in the transaction practice. At Dentons Boekel, from his expertise, Sjors has frequently been involved in the purchase and sale of property portfolios of large international and national investment and investment companies.
Sjors is a member of various professional associations, such as the Administrative Law Association (VAR) and the Young Real Estate Lawyers Association (VJOJ). He is also a member of various real estate networks, such as FRESH and the Young Living Environment network. Sjors enjoys teaching about his profession and also regularly publishes for the real estate market.
